Here are the three articles that caught my eye today:
IG Live: your new TV?
I’ve always argued that anyone (including you) is a threat to the media and entertainment industry. Why? Because the minute you create a photo, livestream or create a YouTube video etc and sharing it with your family and friends, you’re behaving exactly like Netflix, TV and cable network.
Your next threat or opportunity?
IG Live (Instagram Live). In this example, brands are tapping into IG Live to keep their fans (and to find new ones) during the coronavirus period. Will this change your behavior after it’s done? Probably.
Things to do in your spare time
If you’re an engineer (or if you love taking apart things to see how they work etc), this article is for you. From articles to kits. And everything in between to keep you occupied:
How your local TV or cable network is coping during COVID-19
Are you noticing that your favorite anchor is broadcasting from their home? Ditto for the reporter? Are you curious to see the tools the network or TV station is using to accomplish this? This article will give you the tools being used to do this (don’t be surprised if this carries over after the crisis has ended).
Stay at home workout
20 jumping jacks
20 high knees
20 mountain climbers (if you have any plastic Tupperware (or something similar), flip them over to the inside. You can either place your bare feet inside the covers (or wear a pair of socks). Start running. 20x per leg)
Take a break for 60 seconds. Repeat 6 times.
Why proper technique and form is key to your home workouts
The short answer? Because if you don’t pay attention to this, you’ll get injured (no one wants to get injured).
If you need some help during your at home workouts (in terms of form and technique), contact Coach Rachel (she’s my personal trainer).
Tea is your friend.
Thank you for reading this!
I will see you virtually on Friday!
