P.S. Some tips on how to overcome the obstacles you’re facing in your life.

——-

Stay at home workout

Go outside for a walk.

Or stretch for 20 minutes before you go to bed.

Branding 101

When you aim for the luxury market or your product is considered luxurious, people will buy them (eg: Lululemon, Apple, Trader Joes etc).

The same idea applies if you’re a condo/apartment builder. You want the luxurious grocery store to anchor your building.

The winner in the US?

It’s not Trader Joes.

Which Grocery Store Anchor Drives the Strongest Apartment Performance?

——-

Margins = profit

Here’s a quiz:

Do you buy the small ($4), medium ($4.25) or large popcorn ($4.50)?

You’d buy the large. Why? Because your brain says “it’s only $0.50. And it’s a bargain.”)

The same idea applies to video game consoles:

PlayStation 5 price: How does Sony choose what to charge?

NB. It’s an interesting tale of supply chain, components and consumer psychology. I promise it’ll make you a better shopper after you read it.

——-

Pick one. Or three. Mostly three.

Technology’s impact on the entertainment world?

When a company decides to bundle their TV, video and music service into one:

Apple bundles TV, video and music services

NB. I’m not a big fan of the bundle because I love picking the service I want to subscribe to (eg: I’d rather subscribe to AppleTV instead of the rest).
