Le Trois. The Three. El Tres

Happy Tuesday!

Here are the three articles that caught my eye!

I love you all!

P.S. If you’re on Twitter, don’t forget to tune into #PatentWednesday. Where I find and post a patent that will impact the entertainment industry (my speciality).

Stay at home workout

Don’t forget to sleep for 8 hours.

It’s, hot

The securities industry is hiring. Keep in mind that a lot of people have left (aka the great resignation). So they can focus on working in a different industry: link

Buh, bye

Technology’s impact on the entertainment (in this case, the sports entertainment industry)? DAZN (an OTT sports broadcaster) considers buying BT Sports (a cable sports channel in the UK). Don’t be surprised if DAZN starts making more deal: link

NB: this is your proof that technology has taken over the industry. Your other proof? When the tech streamers (AppleTV+, Netflix) won most of the Emmy awards last week.

At some point, you will be watching your favorite show/movie using these devices:

a) a content aggregator (aka Roku, AppleTV+; the pay TV bundle will be gone. Linear and cable TV will still exist but they will continue to focus on their streaming platforms = $$$).

b) an app or

c) TikTok

Before that happens, you’ll see micro trends. And how they’ll impact the business world. Example? Hairflueners: link

Author: Research King

My real name is Nick but my clients call me the Research King. Why? Because I love researching and finding information. And they’re literally amazed when I find the information for them. I love analyzing how technology influences the media and entertainment world. Because the media and entertainment industry is constantly changing. And technology is playing a big role in changing it (from CD’s to live-streaming). Finally, I love coffee, going to the gym/working out and anything to do with athletic leisure clothing (I’m a big Lululemon fan). P.S.
