Happy FriYaY!

Something different – a book review (I have to keep you guessing what I’ll write and tweet).

I’ll keep it to less than 10 lines.

I love you!

@nickhtang

P.S. Your motivation for this week? Progress is a two way street. Sometimes you succeed. Many times you’ll fail. For me? Trying to do a pull up. As you can tell by the photos, a work in progress. Thank you Coach Matt at RA Centre LifeFit for taking the photos on Thursday. And guiding me through the process.

Today’s book review?

This one: link

If you think STEM is important, you’re wrong.

Because the Humanities (History, Philosophy, etc) are important.

How else are you going to gather and analyze all sorts of data from different points of view (or industries)? Using cultural intelligence as your guide? To understand the why (my example? Why do people watch Netflix? Subscribe to a streaming service? Is it different in Japan, India, South Africa, USA?)”

While using analytical empathy by reading a country’s fiction. Understanding what the people are going through (past and current).

To make the right decisions.

My real name is Nick but my clients call me the Research Guru. Why? Because I love researching and finding information. And they’re literally amazed when I find the information for them. I love analyzing how technology influences the media and entertainment world. Because the media and entertainment industry is constantly changing. And technology is playing a big role in changing it (from CD’s to live-streaming). Finally, I love coffee, going to the gym/working out and anything to do with athletic leisure clothing (I’m a big Lululemon fan). P.S.
